En poco más de tres años ha conseguido poner tres álbumes en el mercado y vender millones de copias.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty nació en febrero de 1988 en la capital de Barbados, St. Michelle, y se ha convertido en un nuevo ídolo de masas, pasando a engrosar la división de cantantes de R´n´B contemporáneo de talento vocal y gran belleza física, como Beyoncé o Ashanti.

En menos de un año desde la salida al mercado de "Music of the Sun", Rihanna tenía nuevo trabajo en la calle,"A Girl Like You" (Def Jam, 2006), y entraba directamente en el número cinco de las listas americanas. El primer sencillo del álbum, 'SOS', y consiguió auparse al número uno de la lista Billboard, principalmente gracias a las descargas del tema a través de las tiendas online de música.
Y no hay duda que el 2007 está siendo el mejor año artístiico para Rihanna. Su último álbum "Good girl gone bad" se ha convertido en un gran éxito mundial. Su nuevo single 'Umbrella' se ha convertido en una de las canciones ´del año (sino la más), confirmando a Rihanna como una de las mejores voces del panorama musical actual.

El single 'Umbrella' es la canción más importante del año. Ha alcanzado el puesto más alto de las listas en gran parte del planeta y el "temporal" Rihanna no cesa.
La chica buena se vuelve mala y saca un gran disco. Y no todo lo bueno se queda en el single "Umbrella" a dúo con Jay-Z. En "Good Girl Gone Bad" encontramos música para todo: "Don't Stop The Music" para bailar; "Say It" para pensar; "Lemme Get That" para saborear cada detalle y sí, "Hate That I" para amar.
